WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Troubleshoot
Start from the symptom and find the next step.Permission denied, or is the Agent waiting for approval?
- Confirm the account and organization first, then check the file, document, or task you are opening.
- If a document is view-only, ask its owner to check your permissions. Sharing a resource does not necessarily grant editing access.
- When the Agent awaits approval, inspect the action, target, and permission prompt before deciding. You do not need to switch straight to Allow all for troubleshooting.
Still unresolved? Record the time, client version, failing steps, and error, attach a screenshot with sensitive information hidden, and contact support. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or API keys.
Cannot sign in, or asked to reauthorize?
- Distinguish failure to sign in to ccwork from a connected model account needing reauthorization. Record the full error shown.
- If prompted to sign in to ChatGPT Codex, return to ChatGPT Codex in model configuration and complete browser authorization as instructed. A different computer requires signing in again.
- If ccwork itself cannot sign in, check network access and the login information. If it still fails, give support the blocked step and error.

Connection failed, request timed out, or execution device offline?
- Check that the current device can browse normally and note whether every feature fails or only a model or workspace reports errors.
- For an offline execution device, confirm that ccwork is running on that computer and its network is connected. Local files must be handled on the device containing them.
- If only model requests fail, check the selected model and connection settings. No quota and rate limits require quota-specific troubleshooting; reconnecting alone will not fix them.

Document or table stuck on Syncing?
- Inspect its sync status and errors. Connecting and Syncing do not mean content has been saved to the cloud.
- Check the network, account, and organization. Across devices, confirm you opened the same resource. Local folders do not appear automatically when switching devices.
- Preserve important unsynced content first, keep the page open, and follow prompts. After Synced appears, check on the other device.
Still unresolved? Record the time, client version, failing steps, and error, attach a screenshot with sensitive information hidden, and contact support. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or API keys.
Message, attachment, or AI task not sent?
- Identify the failed message or attachment, then check the recipient, organization, and attachment readiness.
- For failed IM messages, check the connection and retry the same message to avoid duplicate sends.
- For failed AI tasks, read the error first. Attachment upload failures, model authentication failures, no quota, and rate limits need different remedies. Check the original task’s status before retrying.
Still unresolved? Record the time, client version, failing steps, and error, attach a screenshot with sensitive information hidden, and contact support. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or API keys.
Changes not saved, or generated file missing?
- Preserve unsaved text and record the error first. Do not close or refresh with unsaved content.
- For cloud documents and tables, check editing permissions and sync status. For local saves, verify the target folder, filename, and reported failure cause.
- Even if AI says it is done, open the actual document or file and check content and save location. Open exported files too, to confirm they include the latest changes.
